Happy Thanksgiving

The holidays are my absolute favorite. I am a huge family person and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have a wonderful family that has been a huge blessing to me throughout the years, but I am also marrying into a wonderful family as well. I am lucky to not only get along with, but to really love my in-laws and their whole gang!

However, as much as I love the holidays, it can also be such a stressful time! We moved 4.5 hours from Cody's family and 2.5 hrs from my family in July. It was by far one of the hardest decisions we have made together, but we are making the best of it. It is very hard trying to fit in all of the different gatherings and spend time with each family. I try to make it as fair as possible.

We had a great time visiting with each family. However, 20+ of Cody's family, including him, came down with the stomach bug in the days following Thanksgiving. We ended up having to stay an extra night at my parents because Cody could not get out of bed. Then, on our way home we had a flat tire and had to spend a few hours in Gatesville while it was being fixed. It was a very adventurous Thanksgiving to say the least.
